Cooking Class: Lunches for 30 Plants a Week

Research shows that diverse plant foods contribute unique nutrients and fiber types, which collectively support a balanced and diverse gut microbiome. This, in turn, benefits our health, influencing everything from metabolism and immune function to cardiovascular health and more. To support this diversity, it is recommended to eat 30 different plant varieties each week.

Join us for a hands-on class where we’ll showcase a variety of delicious and easy-to-make lunch recipes designed to help you reach this goal. Learn how to incorporate a range of plant foods into your meals and discover the positive impacts on your overall health.

This class is led by Lauren Benser, a registered dietitian, and Michelle Harris, an IIN graduate and yoga instructor, who will guide you through the nutritional benefits and preparation of each dish.

Highlights:

  • Discover the benefits of a diverse plant-based diet for gut health.
  • Learn simple and tasty lunch recipes to meet the goal of 30 different plant varieties a week.
  • Gain insights from experts in nutrition and wellness.
