Director of Nutrition
Our Gypsy Healer
I was born and raised in Israel and grew up on a Moshav: a Cooperative Agricultural Community. Both sets of my grandparents immigrated to Israel after it was declared a State in 1948, settled in the Moshav, and developed the land. The majority of my extended family lives on the Moshav and remains close. I was drafted in to the IDF (Israeli Defense Force) out of high school and served in the Infantry Division during the Second Intifada, an intense period of terrorism in Israel.
When I was released from service, I’d achieved the rank of Sergeant. After traveling for several years, I came to the US to attend The University of Arizona where I studied nutrition and dietetics. I moved to Charleston to complete my internship at the Medical University of South Carolina. For nearly 10 years, I’ve worked as a dietitian in both hospital and private settings. My pursuit of nutrition is a way of life.
I’m passionate about the arts, creativity and travel. I believe that traveling and immersing yourself in other cultures builds tolerance, creates understanding, perspective, and openness.
