I have two amazing daughters that I love dearly, Grace and Tess. We have two family pets who warm our hearts and make us smile alot, a dog-Mia and a cat-PoPo.
I graduated from Duke University with a double major in Economics and Psychology. I enjoy cheering on my Duke Blue Devils with my two brothers who also went there, especially during Basketball season!
I have worked in non-profit, for-profit, healthcare, and higher education sectors during my career. I have helped develop and manage several integrative health and fitness programs, as well as a first-of-its-kind holistic Wellness Center for a large regional hospital in Southern Indiana. Over the last 18 years, I have trained and received certifications in a variety of well-being modalities with my first certification through the Omega Institute in 2000 for Interdisciplinary Yoga Instructor. I have taught over 7,000 classes and provided community presentations and retreats on well-being and stress resiliency. I received health coaching training at Duke Integrative Medicine (2010), The HeartMath Institute (2003,2014), and the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (2013).
